One of the amazing perks of being a Nuby Mommy Blogger is that my family gets to review amazing Nuby products! Over the next few months I will be sharing these products with you. For my first review I would like to introduce you to the Ol’McDonald Singing Plush Toy collection.
Let me just tell you that when our package arrived the kids could not wait to play with the chicken. The music is unlike any other singing children’s toy due to the clarity of the song, it seriously sounds amazing. The vibrant, soft chicken brings a smile to both of my children and has us singing along as we run errands or while we’re playing at home.
We run a lot of errands and honestly this toy is one I make sure I bring along in the car. If the baby starts to get whiny all I do is give the chicken a little hug and he forgets about why he was crying and starts dancing. Payton loves it as well because it has taught her a new song and she requests the “moo-moo” song all.the.time!
I recently brought it on a play date in the park and all the children wanted to play with it. It was one of those moments where each kid wanted to take the chicken home and I wish they all could! This toy is definitely on the top of my list for parents-to-be or for a first birthday despite that it’s recommended for three months and up. I can safely tell you that my 2.5 year-old loves it just as much as my almost ten month-old.
Here is a video of Brayden while we were shopping at Costco. He was getting restless and the familiar children’s song turned it all around.
The Ol’McDonald singing plush toys make a great gift and I know I will purchasing the other farm animals from the collection. If you wish to purchase one, you can find them at BuyBabyDirect.com for just $8.99!

Hello. My daughter had the same chicken for years (5 to be exact). Unfortunately we lost him on 09/08 (the day after her 5th birthday). She is completely heartbroken about it. He was her “security blanket” and she has been lost without him. I’ve been searching everywhere for a replacement with no luck. I was wondering if your children no longer use him, would you be willing to sell him? I hate to ask but I’m out of other options. As a mother yourself I hope you understand this act of unconditional love and desperation. Please let me know your response. Thank you very much for your time.
With Kind Regards,
Leah
