I have taken a few weeks off of photo fun Monday’s. I guess I felt silly posting the same pics I was posting on insta. I did, however, save a few for today that were not posted. See, that’s how much I missed all y’all!
make sure to follow me via instagram, I am a total over sharer.
Last Saturday we took the kids, along with our fav Filipino family to Chargers stadium for the ‘Bolt to the Q’ family 1k. It was the last time we would see Dr. Nelson; he is headed over to Afghanistan to save the lives of wounded soldiers. We will miss him so very much, this event was the perfect send off even though both Charlie and Payton were being normal shy toddlers. We ended with lunch at True Food Kitchen. YUM!
The following day my nieces and nephew arrived for their five day stay. My sister is back in school after earning her B.S. last year to go to nursing school and had finals last week. Grandma came for reinforcement, it was so fun having a full house! We assembled Payton’s new trampoline (potty training gift from Aunt Kathy & Uncle Al), they went swimming, we spent a day at the zoo and I made them maple bacon pancakes. Oh! and we had a manicure sesh. Brady boy also had his first pancake.
By Friday morning everyone was gone, including daddy. The full house is now empty…which leads to lots of snuggles and tiring out the wee ones so they sleep well at night. My foot is making an appearance because I think it’s neat. Not looking forward to minor surgery in a few weeks.
We spent Saturday morning on the beautiful San Diego bay in Aunt Kathy and Uncle Al’s boat. We cruised the whole bay, making stops to talk to Patty the pelican and Sammy the Sea Lion. We finished the day off with a yummy lunch at an amazing fish market. So blessed to have the family we have.
How was your weekend?

@Suz – I was told at age 21 that I had a hammer toe on my right foot, third toe. The pain has gotten so bad that with every stride my toe pops, this is an audible popping. When I am working out the toe goes numb and the pain goes all the way up my shin. So, I went back to the doctor and they said it’s not a hammer toe rather it dislocates with every stride on the first two joints. This is not common, actually neither othro surgeon had ever seen a toe like this. FAB! They will be destructing the cartilage and pinning the toe to keep it flat, I will be in a boot for six to eight weeks. No Bueno!!!!
