To Aspen for the remainder of the week with our friends travis, suzanne, craig and candace. We are staying at the stonebridge inn and plan to snowboard thursday, friday and saturday. So far our road trip has been enjoyable, we are sixty miles away from vegas and have 730 left! Anywho- just wanted to give an update as we are driving. I will post pics when we get back.
P.S. I am missing’lil D terribly. Wish she was sitting on my lap. Mom give her kisses.

In January of 2009 we adopted our fur baby, Delilah, our dachshund-corgi mixed pup. She was our first baby and all we thought we would have until we were surprised in April when we learned we were expecting our first child in December.
On October 18, 2011 we welcomed our son, Brayden James. Brady was born with a cleft lip and is our miracle baby. He is truly an angel! You can search his story on the blog to see his progress. You would never know he ever had surgery. He loves anything sports related, can ride his power wheels like no other two-year-old and he is obsessed with Mater, Lighting McQueen and Thomas.
In May of 2012, we bought our new house and couldn’t be more blessed to live in the neighborhood we always dreamt of living in. We finally sold the first house where we began as a family in November 2012.
My blog is another baby. Well, I tend to forget about it sometimes but I always come back. You will find anything from yummy recipes, photos of the kids, rants on why people bug me or why I am bugging myself and some DIY stuff thrown in there. I hope you stick around!

Last Friday we adopted our two-month-old mini dachshund, Delilah, from the Helen Woodward Humane Society in Rancho Sante Fe. She is extremely sweet, giving a lot of kisses, excitement and nibbles that one can expect with any puppy. Last Saturday she got to meet her best ‘lil buddies, Louie and Lola. She doesn’t know her size and let’s everyone know that she is a leader. We love our little cuddler and we hope you will too!

Back in November my family and I took our family portraits at Bear Park off the 52 freeway in San Diego. Like I mentioned in our last post, Carolynn Helton of Sun Diego Photography did our shoot. I cannot brag about her any more than I already do! If you know anyone that is getting married and is in need of a fabulous, yet extremely reasonable photographer please contact her. She will not disappoint! This shoot was fun because we were all together and when you get the entire Barr family together there is never a dull moment. I love these pictures and they made the best Christmas presents. I hate to brag, but we are one damn good looking family!
