1. MAC ‘underage’ lipglass – I love this lipgloss! I am not a lover of anything dark on my lips, I am a natural girl. This lipgloss offers a small amount of color and lots of shine! Perfect for any outing anytime of day.

2. Starbucks Iced Grande Triple Skinny Vanilla Latte – I am an addict right now. I went three days without a coffee and I was going crazy. It just makes my day so much better!


If I picked another fav I would go with girlie headbands/clippies for Payton. I seriously have an addiction. A serious addiction.

family, friends and two baptisms

Yesterday was a very special day for my baby girl and I. During the 10 o’clock service at our church we were baptized side-by-side, I made a commitment to God and made the promise to bring our sweet baby girl up with him in our lives. Our family and friends were only aware that Payton would be baptized so it was a pleasant surprise when Pastor Bruce told the congregation that I too would be baptized with her. It was very emotional for me as I had to fight the tears as I looked down at my proud parents, a mother-in-law’s camera flashes of excitement and sweet smiles from our dear friends. After the service we had a brunch at our aunt and uncle’s house where everyone celebrated our new found commitment. I will never forget that moment and I cannot wait to tell Payton all about it over and over again as she grows.

What charity do you or do you wish you supported and why?

There are so many charities out there and it is hard to pin point one, but if I had never- ending funds I would continusly support the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

$1 Billion has already gone towards creating awarness and finding a cure since the organization was started in 1982.

My Mother is a breast cancer survivor. She is and will always be a fighter. She is one of the “lucky ones” and I am thankful she is here with us today.

Top Two Tuesday. . .Beauty Secrets

It’s another Tuesday and I am playing along with Taylor’s “Top 2 Tuesday’s” Click on the link below to get in on the action. . .

I literally sat her trying to think of any beauty secrets that I may have, but I cannot say that they are a “secret”. An obvious one would be a salon quality flat iron to straightened my frizzy, unruly hair. People have no clue that my hair is like this, always saying, that my hair is “perfect”. But, the flat iron isn’t a secret.

1. MAC “Wedge” eyeshadow. I cannot live without this product. I have barely there eyebrows and this shadow fills in my brows to provide a little additional confidence to accentuate my albino status features. 🙂

2. Clinque “Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion”. My skin needs this and if it doesn’t get it’s daily treatment of the yellow dream lotion I start twitching. Okay, well, maybe not. But no other moisturizer works as well as this does on my skin. I’ve been using this since I was a kiddo!
