Yesterday was Mr. Hubby Jimmy’s 32nd birthday and it is crazy to think I have known him since he was twenty going on twenty-one. The years are flying on by and we’re just getting older and older, well, he is not me! The day wasn’t anything spectacular since he worked, but the P’ster and I met him and took him to lunch just so he would walk away from his desk for an hour. After lunch he went back to work and we headed to Party City for a few balloons, decorations and to search for his Wig Pub Crawl suit. When we got home she went down for a nap and then I began sweating my tail off working against the clock to ensure that I had his request of Grandma’s Oriole chocolate cupcakes baked, the decorations hung and the house was semi-tidy. Right as I frosted the last cupcake my guard dog let me know her daddy was home and I thanked him for waiting until I got done. P woke up from her nap and I immediately showed her the “cake” and she had to get her hand on one right away so we sat and watched her eat the frosting off one and then He got to play the “boon” game with P. They raced up and down the halls with two balloons and then it got really quiet, I went in her room to check on them and all she kept saying was “pink boon, blue boon, da-da” while he had fallen asleep. I am telling you age is catching up to him already! We took his cupcakes over to the Schacks and then went to dinner at URGE Gastropub where we had fun as usual. We sang happy birthday, he got to eat a few cupcakes, he fixed a TV and then came home to fix the bouquet of balloons that P so nicely walked straight into our ceiling fan. Overall, not so eventful but it was a lot more fun having P recognize a birthday and celebrating with us.

Happy birthday! I have to say that while I LOVE the pictures of Miss P… the picture of the cupcakes look like they should be in Martha Stewart. Awesome shot!
