and Daddy doesn’t technically know yet, oh! is Mommy gonna be in trouble. Auntie and I headed to the mall today to have lunch and we stopped by the jewelry store and decided to get it over with now. I know it’s a cultural thing so don’t judge me. My Mom had waited until we were old enough to make the decision and I had it done at the age of eight, I was mortified. Today, I was mortified as the gun went off because it was like me sitting in her position all over again. I know I made the right choice because she will not remember the pain, she literally cried as the earring entered her ear and then calmed right down. I am happy with them and how she handled it and will be more pleased once people stop asking if she is a boy. Plus, it’s just another accessory I can put on my beautiful baby.
The Before
The Deed is being done. . . I know she is crying but I still love her expression and could eat her up! Look at her lip.
The After
Pondering what her Auntie and Mommy just did to her
I was telling her as we were leaving the mall that this means she can accessorize more and she gave us this smile. Every woman loves to accessorize no matter what age!
I have to add that Jim and I have discussed getting her ears pierced and he agreed upon this decision, he just didn’t know I would do it today.

I have wanted to pierce my girls ears too but my husband would DIE! I always said the same thing too that people would know they are girls (as if the pink and big bows don’t give it away enough). She looks darling! What a great day for you and her!

She looks adorable! We got Gigi’s ears pierced when she was 2 1/2 months so I don’t judge haha. I have pictures of her making the same “what the hell just happened?!” face!

I can’t imagine someone would think shes a boy?! Especially with her cute clothes and all the pretty bows and flower headbands she wears?! They do look cute….but I feel so sad for her in the screaming picture! =)
